INAUGURAL PRODUCTION

WSWT RADIO!

WRITTEN BY ERIN BOSTON

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 5 · 6:30–8:00 PM

20025 N 81st Ave, Peoria, AZ 85382

Step back into the 1940s for a live radio broadcast performed in front of you. Foley sound effects made on stage, vocal performances, comedy, and the classic radio advertising that held the whole thing together.

It is nostalgic, fast-paced and built for families. Our cast is a group of local performers ages 13 to 19, and this is the first mainstage production in the company's history.

BEFORE YOU COME

TICKET QUESTIONS

How much are tickets to a Singers Wanted Theater show?

General admission is $15 for both WSWT Radio! and Tri-Tones & Ivory. For WSWT Radio! you can also add $5 of concession credit at checkout and spend it at the show. There is no booking fee and no service charge added at checkout.

Where are the performances held?

Both productions are at 20025 N 81st Ave, Peoria, AZ 85382, in the West Valley of metro Phoenix. It is an easy drive from Surprise, Glendale, El Mirage, Goodyear and Litchfield Park. Doors and parking details go out by email to ticket holders before the performance.

What is WSWT Radio!?

WSWT Radio! is an original live radio broadcast written by founder Erin Boston and set in the 1940s. Audiences watch the sound effects being made on stage, hear live vocal performances, and get the comedy and vintage advertising of a golden-age studio show. It is the company's first mainstage production.

Is the show appropriate for children?

Yes. WSWT Radio! is written as a family-friendly, fast-paced throwback, and the performers themselves are ages 13 to 19. Tri-Tones & Ivory is an evening of music and storytelling for a general audience. Every seat is general admission, so families can sit together.

How is Tri-Tones & Ivory different from the production?

Tri-Tones & Ivory is a benefit concert, not a staged production. Three classically trained performers share one piano for an intimate set of classics and stories. It runs two nights, November 12 and 13, and every dollar supports Singers Wanted Theater.

Where does the money go, and is any of it taken in fees?

One hundred percent of your purchase goes to Singers Wanted Theater. We sell through Zeffy, which charges nonprofits nothing and asks buyers for an optional tip instead. If you would rather give directly, there is a donation field on the ticket form, and donations are tax receipt eligible.

Can I buy a ticket without using the form on this page?

Yes. Each form has a direct link beside it that opens the full page on Zeffy, which is useful if a browser extension blocks embedded forms. You can also call or text Erin Boston at 623-687-7646 and she will sort it out with you.
